What is the maximum guest capacity?
The Emerson accommodates up to 40 guests, with seating available for 26. You may bring additional seating if needed.
What types of events can be hosted at The Emerson?
We host a wide range of events including baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, micro weddings, networking events, corporate gatherings, workshops, photoshoots, and more.

BOOKING + PAYMENTS
How do I book the space?
Submit an inquiry through our Book Now Form. After we confirm availability, you’ll receive a rental agreement and payment link.
What is required to reserve my date?
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to hold your date.
When is the final payment due?
The remaining balance and a refundable security deposit are due 30 days prior to your event.
What is your cancellation policy?
The retainer is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, we may be able to apply a portion of your payment to a future rental date.
FOOD + DRINKS
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own food or hire a licensed and insured caterer (proof required). All food must be pre-cooked, as we are not a commercial kitchen. Warming elements such as Sternos or electric crock pots are permitted.
Please note: If you choose to bring your own food (not through a licensed caterer), you will be required to obtain event insurance and provide proof prior to your event date.
Can I serve alcohol?
Yes, but alcohol service must go through our exclusive vendor, MY BAR SERVICE. They offer affordable, customizable packages and are licensed to handle all beverage services.

Can I decorate the space?
Yes! You’re welcome to personalize the space.

How will the space be configured?
After booking, you’ll receive layout options to choose from. Our team will have your selected setup ready prior to your arrival.
Is there a way to see the space before booking?
Yes! Private tours are available by appointment.
PARKING + ACCESSIBILITY
How do we access the space on the day of our event?
The door remains locked when not in use. A staff member will unlock it at the start of your rental time. Please ensure guests arrive within your scheduled rental period. If you need assistance upon arrival, feel free to reach out.
Where can guests park?
Street parking is available, and we are just a short walk from four public lots in downtown Lake Wales. A parking map will be provided with your rental agreement to share with guests.
Is there a back door?
No. All guests and vendors must use the front entrance. The back door is an emergency exit only. Opening it will trigger a silent alarm and dispatch emergency services. Please help us avoid unnecessary disruptions.

When will I get my security deposit back?
Security deposits are refunded within 7 business days, but can take up to 30 days to reflect in your account, assuming there are no damages or contract violations.
